The Unholy Rollers are a bocce ball club who play and practice at the North Park Blocks in Portland, Oregon. Last week I entered a contest where I was randomly assigned a 16 square block section of town and told to go shoot photos of whatever I could dig up. This good group of people were more than willing to be photographed. I entered the first photo for “Best Portlandia Shot”.

The Unholy Rollers admit to being amateur players, who are just in it for the fun times. Based on what I saw they were having the most fun out of anyone around. It’s a crew like this who reminds of why I love this town. It’s PDX; spontaneous and delightfully unique.
